Reminders:
- If arriving after 8:45 AM students will be marked tardy.
- If your child is absent due to a medical appointment (dentist, doctor, counselor, etc) ask their office for an excuse. These absences do not count towards absence hours.
- If your student is absent please call the Elementary Office (330.627.4592) before 9:30 AM. If there is no answer please leave a message with your student's name, teacher, and reason).
Attending school regularly is essential to our students' academic, social, and emotional skills.
All schools in the Carrollton Exempted Village School District will be closed today - Thursday, December 5. Have a great day and GO WARRIORS!

Students are off until Tuesday, Dec. 3rd.
BCC students have school tomorrow - Nov. 27th - and the buses will leave CHS at 7:00am.

CES PTO Meeting is cancelled for today. It is rescheduled for Wednesday, December 4th @3:45 PM

Carrollton Robotics competed at North Union High School on Saturday. The team of Bruce Jozwiakowski, Sadie Pridemore, and Rowen Hartong walked away with a third place finish. The team of Emma Jozwiakowski, Brantley McNutt, and Rett Nicholas earned the top spot for the third straight first place finish. They also officially punched their ticket to the state robotics tournament which will be held at the Dayton Air Force Museum in early March. Way to go Robot Warriors!!

Carrollton Elementary Robotics started the season at the Pioneer Fall Classic in Elyria this weekend. The Robot Warriors brought home 5 awards. The team of Emma Jozwiakowski, Brantley McNutt, and Rett Nicholas was the Teamwork Challenge and Robot Skills Champions and received the Build Award. The team of Ryker Hartong, Easton Nicholas, and Leland Warner were the Teamwork Challenge runner up. The team of Rowen Hartong, Bruce Jozwiakowski, and Sadie Pridemore received the Sportsmanship Award. Way to go Robot Warriors!!

Mrs. Pape’s and Mrs. Mullen’s classes visited the new elementary school last week to help Mrs. Russell plant Native Prairie Pollinators! Between both classes, students planted close to 200 plants. Mrs. Russell plans to plant approximately 6,500 plants! Students had a blast helping out. After planting, the classes ate lunch at the Campus Amphitheater.
Law enforcement officials were contacted this morning regarding a re-posting on a social media account. After investigating, at 1:15pm they identified the source and took appropriate action with the individuals responsible. Please contact law enforcement - instead of social media - with information about threats.

There was a false fire alarm today at CES. All students were moved to the BH gym while the Carrollton Fire Dept. investigated. The cause of the alarm was a roof leak that allowed water to collect in a smoke detector. All the students are safe and they returned to the building at about 1:00pm.
Tomorrow - Monday, September 16 - is a waiver day at Carrollton and there is no school for students. BCC students do have school and need to be at CHS by 6:55am to catch the bus. All faculty and staff will report as usual. GO WARRIORS!

Items will be on display in the cafeteria until Thursday, September 19th. Any items left will be donated to the Care Team.
This was a hot week at CES, but we accomplished the goal of having all of our PK and K students get to attend school on their 'first day'. However, we are going to cancel school for PK-5 students tomorrow, Friday, August 30 . Grades 6-12 will report as usual.
On Monday, August 19 we will celebrate the start of another school year! We anxiously await the arrival of our students and believe that the 2024-2025 school year will be rewarding and exciting for everyone!
