If you have not already paid your initial $100 deposit or earned at least $100 profit from the fundraiser you may want to reserve your seat as soon as possible. You can reserve your seat online at travelingclassrooms.com (submit payment tab) or by check made out to Traveling Classrooms (send directly to Traveling Classrooms or send to school with your student. - DO NOT SEND CASH TO SCHOOL! Our seventh and eighth grade Intro to Agriculture Class recently completed their Boot Jack Project. The process included drawing the plan to scale, using hand tools, and staining. They presented a signed Boot Jack to Mr. Wood. Great job!

Jr. High Wrestlers
The Freshman Boys Basketball Team defeated Minerva in an EBC semifinal last night. All players contributed significantly, with Marcus Brooks scoring 9, Luke Thomas scoring 8, Michael Mullen and Brandon Lee scoring 6 apiece, Jake Bryant scoring 4, and Camryn Moore scoring 3. The Freshman will play for the EBC championship against West Branch on Saturday at 4. Hope to see you there!

Carrollton FFA is collecting clean plastic caps for the Caring About our Planet program. Our hope is to get a recycled bench made in memory of Dr. John Walters. Caps can be from water bottles, condiment containers, milk jugs, etc. Please see the graphic below for further examples. Caps can be deposited in collection bins by the CHS gym and in the CHS office. Two hundred and fifty pounds of caps are needed, so start saving today and help us honor Doc!

Monday, February 5th there will be a meeting for all parents of current sixth and seventh grade students that have any interest in going on the field trips to Washington DC and Gettysburg. The meeting begins at 6pm in the PAC . This meeting will include information on fundraising, itineraries, and behavior policies.

The game will still be held at Marlington High School. The JV game will begin at 5:30 pm. The Freshman Boys Basketball game scheduled for tomorrow morning, Saturday 1-20-24 @ Canton C.C. at 10 am is cancelled. The MS Boys and Girls Basketball games between Carrollton MS and Tucky Valley MS scheduled for tomorrow morning, Saturday 1-20-24 at 9:30 am is cancelled.
