The calendar that was sent home this summer says that there is "No School" this Wednesday (March 13). This is incorrect - there will be school as scheduled on Wednesday, March 13. We apologize for the error.
Reminder to current 5th graders and their families: There will be an informational meeting on March 13, 2024, from 6 pm to 7 pm in the Performing Arts Center (PAC) at CHS/CMS. Carrollton Elementary Library has decided to hold a Read-a-thon this year! Read-a-thons get your reader excited about reading and it gives friends and family the opportunity to encourage your child to read even more.
Our Read-a-thon starts Monday, March 4, 2024. About one week before our Read-a-thon starts we will send home instructions on how to activate your reader's page. This is where you will be able to view and record their progress.
We encourage you to activate your reader’s account today by clicking on https://www.read-a-thon.com/readers/r/323738373536/1 and following the simple instructions.
We've chosen Read-a-thon because it will not take much of your time, gives your child a reason to read, and helps in the development of stronger reading skills. We hope EVERYONE participates.
Thanks so much,
Mrs. Moyer, CES Librarian
Mrs. Dodds CES Principal
Come out this Friday and join the fun!
Reminder: No School tomorrow!
