Carrollton FFA is collecting clean plastic caps for the Caring About our Planet program. Our hope is to get a recycled bench made in memory of Dr. John Walters. Caps can be from water bottles, condiment containers, milk jugs, etc. Please see the graphic below for further examples. Caps can be deposited in collection bins by the CHS gym and in the CHS office. Two hundred and fifty pounds of caps are needed, so start saving today and help us honor Doc!

We'd like to thank Wendy Gotschall for her 12 years of service to the students of Carrollton Schools as a Board of Education member. She started her tenure in January of 2012 and decided not to seek re-election in November. Mrs. Gotschall brought great insight to the district from her years at Aultman and the Carroll County Health Department. We thank you for your willingness to serve, so that future generations of Warriors have the opportunities that you had as a student here! We appreciate you and wish you all the best in the future!
Mrs. Shreve's Kindergarten class decorated "Christmas trees" today for a fun and tasty treat!
Mrs. Rose Seck brought her accordion out for the thirty-ninth year to Carrollton Elementary School for the annual holiday sing-a-long. This year’s twist was to add 1,500ish Grandparents/Special Persons to the mix for three separate sessions. In addition to Christmas Carols guests were entertained with poems, readings, and reader’s theater. Special thanks not only to Mrs. Seck, but Mrs. Dickerhoof the elementary music teacher, CES teachers/staff, the PTO, maintenance/custodial staff, and office staff for all their hard work to prepare for our special day.
CES was excited to bring back Grandparents’ Day. This year was our first year since combining the three elementary buildings. Working out the logistics of 800+ students and inviting 1500+ adults into our building was tricky, but well worth the effort to see proud faces in the audience and students’ smiles in the bleachers. We appreciate grandparents/special guests taking time out of their busy holiday schedules to join us. Their kindness and patience did not go unnoticed.

Dear Carrollton Schools Family:
Many schools across Ohio and other states received a threatening email from an organization claiming to represent a Russian terrorist group. You may see this on social media and news outlets. The FBI, Law Enforcement Agencies, and the Educational Service Center School Safety Task Force have reached out to inform schools that this is a hoax and not a credible threat.
Please contact school administration if you have any questions- Have a Great Week, and Go Warriors!
Superintendent Dave Davis
A special thank you from the CARE team.
Mrs. Smith's fourth grade class has an elf named Buddy. He was so kind and brought cupcakes to all of her students to help celebrate her birthday!
Get ready for CES Spirit Week!
