Carrollton High (CHS) and Middle School students presented the play, Annie. The show was shown to high school, middle school, and elementary students ahead of time on Wednesday, March 22nd. The show was open to the public on March 24th and 25th at Carrollton High School in the performing arts center.
“Because this is my last play in high school it makes me sad because I am going to miss everyone, and I am not going to participate in plays in college, most likely. I started performing because my friends did, and I wanted to be like them,” stated Senior Kaylee Joseph. Three Seniors, Collin Meek, Kaylee Joseph, and Jada Ruiz, were cast members in the play. Senior Jada Ruiz stated, “The hardest part of getting ready for this performance was singing because I have never really been in a choir class before. The one person that made it possible for me to be in this play was Mrs. Nuzzolillo.”
While CHS is losing some cast members, they are gaining some from the middle school. Over 30 middle schoolers were part of the cast and crew. Great job to the entire cast that took part in the play Annie!
