OHSAA FOOTBALL PLAYOFF INFORMATION: The Carrollton School District is very excited to host this Friday night's OHSAA regional football playoff game between Steubenville and Dover. Please know that anyone attending must purchase a ticket and parking will be $5/car. Absolutely no Carrollton sports passes can be accepted per OHSAA guidelines.

We've been informed that the crew completing the sidewalk project on SR 332 will no longer 'break' during our dismissal time. A very busy day #2 in Washington DC for our 7th graders. The agenda included trips to Arlington National Cemetery, Mount Vernon, the American and Natural History Museums, Washington Monument, and supper at Medieval Times.

The 7th grade Washington DC trip got underway yesterday with a full day of sightseeing. We toured the Air/Space Smithsonian, as well as the Pentagon, WWII, Lincoln, Vietnam, Korean, MLK, FDR, and Jefferson Memorials.

There is no school on Monday, October 14 for our students that attend Buckeye Career Center. All other students will have a normal school day on Monday. Have a great weekend and GO WARRIORS!!

Mrs. Pape’s and Mrs. Mullen’s classes visited the new elementary school last week to help Mrs. Russell plant Native Prairie Pollinators! Between both classes, students planted close to 200 plants. Mrs. Russell plans to plant approximately 6,500 plants! Students had a blast helping out. After planting, the classes ate lunch at the Campus Amphitheater.

Law enforcement officials were contacted this morning regarding a re-posting on a social media account. After investigating, at 1:15pm they identified the source and took appropriate action with the individuals responsible. Please contact law enforcement - instead of social media - with information about threats.

There was a false fire alarm today at CES. All students were moved to the BH gym while the Carrollton Fire Dept. investigated. The cause of the alarm was a roof leak that allowed water to collect in a smoke detector. All the students are safe and they returned to the building at about 1:00pm.
