Our Kindergarten students enjoyed connecting their curriculum to hands on learning. They learned about bread making, making butter in a jar and baking bread in their classroom. The students enjoyed eating their bread and butter during their Charlie Brown Thanksgiving Feast! 🦃
During this season of gratitude, we want to express our thanks for all of our students, teachers, staff, and community - all of whom contribute in countless ways to make Carrollton a truly special place. We have been challenged by events beyond our control, only to watch our community to grow stronger.
As we focus on all of the additional responsibilities that come along with the holiday season, we encourage you to take breaks, connect with friends & family and continue healthy habits.
Wishing everyone a very happy, safe and blessed Thanksgiving!

Master Sergeant Scott Cartwright spoke to Carrollton Elementary students, staff, and local Veterans on the morning of Friday, November 10th. The program opened with the local Boy Scouts presenting the flag, leading the Pledge of Allegiance, and singing the National Anthem. Fifth-grade speakers shared Veteran's Day facts and the program concluded with the entire student body singing a song thanking our Veterans. The student body also filled the gym lobby and Third Street windows with Veteran's themed art. Special thanks to our local Veteran guests, Mrs. Dickerhoof, Mrs. Strader, Mrs. Lowdermillk, Mrs. Landis, and Mrs. Pape for putting together this beautiful program.
CMS Student Council Members placed flags around our building today to celebrate and welcome Veterans! Our HS/MS program begins at 8. Elementary follows at 9:30.
Our students are learning life long skills in Mechanics Principles class. They love disassembling, tuning up and reassembling their Briggs & Stratton small engines!
