Our Seniors recently enjoyed touring the Mansfield Reformatory. They learned about Ohio history, along with the creation, purpose and current use of the facility.

The Environmental Science class teamed up with 2nd grade classes (Mrs. Pape and Mrs. McNutt) to plant daffodils. HS students taught 2nd graders how to dig, fertilize and plant daffodils bulbs. Everyone is looking forward to a beautiful spring show of color! Over 140 bulbs were planted on the bank of the side entrance to the HS/MS. Bulbs were generously donated by Soil and Water.

Huebner’s and Subaru Loves Learning recently donated $5000 to be used at CES. Huebner Subaru believes all children deserve a quality education, and as such, they want to do their part to help provide some of the resources necessary for our students to learn and thrive in the classroom. CES is so thankful for the generous donation that will benefit our learners!

It was a tough battle between schools in the Goodwill Drive to Victory. This friendly competition, powered by the Stark County Educational Service Center and BellStores, challenged each school to donate the most goods to Goodwill Industries leading up to the big game.
The donated clothing and housewares will be sold in local Goodwill stores and ultimately support mission services right here in our community. Last year alone, Goodwill supported more than 18,000 individuals through its outreach programs.
Our students and community helped support employment programs for people with barriers. Our students and community helped build stronger families through our parenting programs. And, our students and community helped provide advocacy and support to victims of sexual assault.
THANK YOU for your support!
The donation trailers were weighed at our warehouse and collectively more than 5,000 pounds of goods were donated!
Congratulations…Carrollton for collecting the most donations! We'll be receiving a $250 award.
GO WARRIORS!

Fifth Graders were able to enjoy a potato bar with special guest servers from the school board and administration. These fifth graders planted the potatoes at the Power Center last spring and then returned recently to harvest.
First Graders were busy this week. Families were invited to a pep rally. They showed their school spirit by singing the Carrollton Fight Song and First Grade, First Grade. Then teachers shared with families what first grade will look like for their learners this school year. They finished their week by taking a walking field trip to the town square to view the scarecrows and enjoy an ice cream treat from Reminisce.
