CHS is pleased to share that the County Commissioners Association of Ohio (CCAO) Research and Educational Foundation has announced the 2025 Ohio Counties Scholarship, an exciting opportunity for high school seniors in our region who aspire to a career in public service.
Over the past two years, the foundation has awarded $20,000 in scholarships to students across Ohio, thanks to the support of CCAO members and fundraising events like the County Classic Golf Outing. This year, one student from each CCAO District—Central, Southwest, Northwest, Northeast, and Southeast—will receive a $2,000 scholarship.

If your elementary student rides bus route number 121, the bus will be about 15 minutes late this morning...
We have one bus running late this morning due to a semi truck that is blocking the road. If your child rides bus 121, it will be late. Have your kids come back inside and turn on a porch light so they don't have to wait outside.
Second-grade students in Mrs. McNutt's class harvested their grow tower!! Activities were sampling smoothies with greens added and using microscopes to analyze roots!! Students will also be served a taco bar and salad with the remaining lettuce.
